>>1347973Yeah, things are going at breakneck speed here, it's unbelievable how fast downtown is developing and similar stuff is going on in Hollywood as well, block upon block of former small apartment buildings and single family homes being knocked down for massive apartment/condo complexes and stuff. I just photoshopped up this shot for another board a few days ago, showing downtown a decade ago vs. now, and it's only a tiny slice of the area AND doesn't show the degree to which all of the existing stuff has been gutted and redeveloped.
It fucking sucks because it's driven rent through the roof all over the city, though, even on shitty SFV/SGV places that used to be under a grand a month, and the worst part is that these huge new complexes are largely being built as investments and are half empty.
