hard to tell from the tiny pic
it has something like the shimano tourney TY20 derailleurs circa 1994
feels to me like an 18 speed bike .eg 3 chain rings for 6 cogs
It could also be 21 speed but there is a bit that points away from that
such as that normally TY20 shifters can not pull enough cable to shift 7 speeds very well
also that the brakes are those janky pressed steel side pulls paired with the type of pinned / riveted pivot brake levers
even more impressive is that it lacks brake bosses for canter levers this bike is looking much more 1980s in its features
it looks to have an steel three piece crank with riveted chain rings, many of those are 28 38 48 or something close
your chain stay also has the dimple so there is alot of chain ring clearance
but if you keep the middle rings chain line (many cheep bso fixed gears do) you may be limited to around 44 teeth
for a fixed gear it is not good to have any chain skew
the chain is under a lot of stress and this effects the dropouts / fork ends too
your frame may have the thinner stamped type of drop out, eg lacking in strength
with the horizontal drop out I have found its possible to run a BSO in three gears by removing the rd and shortening the chain
I was going for low speed and did not use any parts not already on the bike so..
38x28
38x24 - what I ended up using most of the time
48x21
that is the limit of adjustment that semi horizontal drop outs provide
to have a smaller chain ring at the back you need to have a larger one at the front
and your chain stays might not have the clearance for either the chain ring
all said and done it will be hard to make the gear ratio so that the bike goes much faster than 30 kph without very vigorous pedaling
not great not terrible
