>middle aged men with no physical disabilities that use e-mtb
I've never seen a disabled or old person use an e-mtb. Where I live its rich middle aged guys use them with the excuse that they only ride once a week. They still dont climb as well as me on my trail bike. The one time I rode with a disabled guy he had half a prosthetic leg he was on San ensure bike and he ripped. He even climbed faster than the e-bike guys while being forced to mash out of the saddle on a long travel bike because his prosthetic wouldn't let him sit and spin.
>middle aged men that want to have that shuttle lifestyle even though the climbs to the downhill gnar isnt even long or hard
I have a small park near me with some steep chunky trails. People come from all over for them and it's a blessing to have this in an urban setting. I always encounter a guy who wants to tag along with me but always suggests we take a free bus ride to the top of the park. I cant respect a mountain biker who cant do a bit of short climbing to get to the fun stuff. Its understandable if you're shuttling to the top of a mountain but we are talking like 1-2 mile climbs that arent even technical or steep.
>middle aged mountain bikers who preach that we should all take lessons from mtb instructors
When I was a kid my friends an i learned how to do tricks on our bmx bikes without YouTube or instructors. Why do i need one now?
