I went to a bike park last weekend and had to rent all my protective gear. I want to buy a set for myself starting with a helmet. Generally I ride light trails/enduro for the most part and only ocasionally go to a park so I'm wondering about something like Fox Proframe or one of the convertibles rated for DH. Then on the other hand there s Fox Rampage Pro which apparently has the best protection, which is the most important thing for me.
Do you guys think that there really is a difference in protection between the enduro DH rated helmets and dedicated ones?
Cash is not an issue for me here, I just want to be as safe as possible but then again, I don't like throwing money away.
