The bike is definitely size too small, so I had to change the original 270mm XT seatpost to some 330mm Ritchey/kalloy from 92. Also tried a moustache bar to get some extra reach. I think I have to put drops on it to get enough reach: this has a 55 top tube, and I used to have a 55 roadie with a 120mm stem, just like this has.
Otherwise I quite like it, very clean old XT groupset and quite fancy Columbus Max Or frame. All the parts feel very sturdy and reliable, but boy they all weigh so much.
