I worked for a taiwanese brand that make folding bikes, at the shanghai show we saw the exact same bike we manufactured : same weld same frame same geometry same paint. Only one thing was different: it was a aluminium frame and they did not do ANY heat treatment. Their frame was soft as fuck and could snap suddenly on heavy stress. I heard two years later they closed their factory. Ha! So think twice before buying some copy, a foldig bike frame snap is no joke.
