an underrated aspect of this chainring is that you don't need 50+ mm carbon wheels for your bike to look "cool" since it looks like a deliberate choice in your build to prioritize low weight and crosswind stability over straight line aerodynamics. even though the chainring is hollowed out it looks like a serious bit of kit in real life because you can see the thickness and 3d structure and the overall shape of the chainring is more like an aero chainring rather than the rounded arch shape of a traditional road chainring which isn't as stiff. pic related isn't my bike but you get the idea. i have deeper 32mm dt swiss alloy rims.
