I've only ridden long-term on a beach cruiser with no brakes or gearing, but I am actively looking for those two features on my next bike. I also live in a very hilly area (something the cruiser could never handle). I'm open to e-bikes for this reason, but I partially want to ride a bicycle for the exercise as well. Currently looking at a Giant Cypress 2 or 3 but I'd like a second opinion.
