Started making a framebag last night for that blue Miyata, finished it this morning. Intended to take more pics, but it's gonna be 70F this afternoon and I wanna spend the day riding, so I just knocked it out.
Fabric is that VX42, a bit excessive, but the lighter weight version I've used in the past has been out of stock for a long time. #8 coil zipper, 1.5" velcro one-wrap, polyester thread, nylon grosgain for edge binding. Not terribly concerned with the weight, but the kitchen scale says it's 8.38oz / 237g.
Super useful though. Carry your tools, pump, spare, phone, keys, gloves, all of it... nothing in your pockets, nothing on your back, no racks/panniers, etc. I like them a lot.
