I'm swissfag myself, lots of great trains here, but also very expensive, and I'm a poorfag loser. I like to take small trips every now and then to interesting places riding interesting trains. I rode this chad af railcar a few years ago. They park it in Zurich main station every now and then as a bar, but that day they had it take a little trip about 15 minutes down the line and back, for free. 10/10 comfy af would autism again.
Btw this same "one big machine" thing is why I think trolleybuses are pretty cool.
