They can resist plant spines, glass, edgy rocks, glass-alike little rocks and those wires enough hard to penetrate the tire. They cannot protect you agains nails, screws and other metal garbage. They are very cheap and lightweight. I put them between tire and tube, 2 rounds. That's all.
