But then I saw pic related - seems to be the original bars with original tape, but the 'hoods' position is almost vertical. This would drastically shorten the needed stem length, right? It's not just the one picture either, I found a couple other photos of the same brand/model of bike and the bars are the same angle, but I can't find reference to this 'style' of vintage bar.
