Merry Christmass from SDS Hansteen. Newly scraped and greased compass stand is ready for remounting. I just have to scrub old grease from the brass components. I have found out that the best way is to heat them up with hot air gun and brush off with brass brush.
Also last week we fired her up a bit just to blow the water from the boiler so it can dry out and be cleaned and inspected.
