Reason why HKL (Helsinki City Transport) still uses the old vehicles, refurbishes them and has gotten the new Artic-model is to replace the Variotram (pic related), which is known to be a noisy, shaky, unreliable and generally just a shitty tram and a mistake that is Bombardier vehicles (at the time, looks like the Stadler Varios are much better).
