any idea how many extra spokes i should order for a beginner wheel build? i realize i shouldn't expect everything to be immaculate but it would annoy me if the spokes are excessively scratched or bent. and maybe i would ruin a spoke or two due to beginner mistakes like when doing this:
https://www.wheelfanatyk.com/blog/wheel-building-tip-no-14-set-the-spoke-path/rosebikes have good prices on spokes so i could order like +50% spokes for the same money and cherrypick the nicer ones but maybe they're all a bit dinged up and maybe they're an older revision with a different alloy or something and rosebikes doesn't warn you about delivery delays even if you order 999 of any item that probably only has a few in stock
