This would require a fixie derailleur hanger too.
This starts to make the project expensive and annoying. If you get a flat tire it will be annoying to get it back up and running. Your axle might be too short to work with the hanger as well
At some point it's a better idea to buy a whole new bike than to force one to do something it wasn't designed for
But a 3x conversion would be cool. If you have a derailleur hanger built into the frame you should go for it
