The only "food" that grows in flyover land is GMO corn and GMO basedbeans. Ironically most of the corn isn't even legal for direct human consumption. It's used for ethanol fuel, and to feed the vast herds of blind, sterile, albino pigs/chickenscows that are hooked up to intravenous antibiotics for their entire lives aside from the few minutes after their birth to the few minutes before their death and never actually see natural light, or really much light at all. But yes, some of it is used for the fast food and walmart TV dinners that flyover "people" eat every day. Or even what passes for fine dining in the shit hole states between appalachia and the sierra nevada range: applebees, five guys, ruby tuesday, cheesecake factory, and (for snobby college boys who think their better than us just cuz their parent's earn over $45,000 a year), rainforest cafe and piada italian street food.
The primary value of flyover agriculture is geopolitical. Commodity food exports are used as an economic weapon to strong arm shitty third world countries into being on our team instead of team china.
