>>1833919No. I have worked for a woodworker master and basically we had to carry ALL the tools, ALL the times. If you don't do that, you throw away half a day every day either selecting what to bring and what to leave, or going back and forth to the shop, or going buy them.
Same thing for environmental engineering firm i worked with. Basically we were driving around in a 20k euro VW Caddy, carrying around 200k euro tools.
Also, may companies policy is to let employers bring their van home, with everything always inside, so they can spend less time getting to the job, sorting through what to bring, and so on.
