Thanks a lot for telling me about your Triban, the thought that I'd be very limited with a normal road bike was making me have second thoughts about buying one.The only issue ive had was loose rocks. Nowadays I ride a Trek Checkpoint ALR 4 Gravel bike mostly because I want the option to ride 42-622 studded tires in winter and 28-622 in summer on the same bike, no room for 2 bikes(4 total since my wife rides too) in my appartment.
The Triban did good for the years I had it, but the max weight is 100kg and I didnt want it to break down on me while packing heavy.
