>>1145164Helicopters are absolutely badass. They might not be as fast as planes but they carry a presence you have to feel in person to understand. Aside from the intimidating noise they make, they push a shit ton of air downwards. When one does a fly by overhead, there's a downdraft that throws stones and sand into your eyes and face and shit. I love helicopters but you really have to be bat shit insane to ride one because if anything goes wrong, it's going down hard. They're absolutely useful in less than developed areas without airports or runways due to their vertical takeoff capabilities
