It's ridiculously bulletproof, with a SS body, bearings, and spindle; it also has a fancy multi stage seal that's supposed to keep out just about everything.
It's definitely up to the job of really heavy use and very cool, but so very expensive at 170USD and only needed for the most demanding and heavy duty of all applications.
For a tourer, the UN55 has a metal body and will do just as fine of a job, unless you want to tour in all extremes of weather and can't afford to have failures happen in the middle of nowhere. Also, you can buy many UN55s for the price of one SKF!
