In NZ there are two big chain bike stores which compete on price and sell common brand name stuff, pic rel, i'm kind of surprised this isn't the same for you. You don't have discount bike stores? Or they just aren't really stocked well? I buy a lot of stuff from wiggle, bike24, aliexpress and others, because locally is a ripoff or just doesn't have what i want, but not often chains/cassettes. Our market is pretty dire for new stuff so i'm surprised if it's really worse for you and you always have to resort to chinkshit.
That $25 cassette or chain is about $15 US. It's not even cheaper on aliexpress, at all. I doubt you paid less for your cassette, no?
