>>1170722>free piston generatorMan that's fucking cool af and really compact as well, just hook that straight to an electric motor and maybe have a small battery that you could also charge as an alternative to power the motor if you're only going a few miles. Straight from the generator to electric motor you would also get really good efficiency, not quite as good as with just using an ICE to power the bike but close enough and the added benefit of an electric motor is really nice.
