Yeah. Got off the boat early at 48 days. They almost weren't able to get me off the boat in Kodiak and I was gonna have to do another 2 weeks or so. Old lady had a miscarriage while I was gone and needed me home. And my apartment lease ran out so they raised my rent $300 more a month.
It's going good though.
Port Captain said he'll be getting me on a dredge job next. That'll be either California or Washington. I'd rather be working the deck daily than being housemaid for 2 weeks underway.
Gonna have enough seatime for my AB soon enough.Might then apply elsewhere to see my options.
OS/$225 and AB/$270 base pay a day. The company does not pay for license upgrades.
However, I've been told the company is infinitely better than others to move up internally in.
