Something small I'd like would be a new Exo line along pic related. Blue is the existing Mont-Saint-Hilaire line, red is what they'd have to make a deal for the use of from CN or CP (not sure which), magenta is land that used to be a rail line that was torn up and turned into a bike path, bridge is still up so depending on how much bringing the bridge back up to code, getting additional rolling stock and the cost of building the stations it would only be about 100-200 million CAD to build and the level of use would be well worth it. Not very ambitious but every little thing helps and might eventually induce enough demand for a line to Granby and even a full REM conversion.
