Anyone know anything about aerial firefighting? I think it would be a super cool job to do for a few years prior to hopping in the airlines or doing something a bit more scheduled. CalFire contracts pilots through DynCorp, and I’ve heard of a pilot shortage over the past year or two with their S-2T fleet. Not too hot in living in CA after living in AZ for 6 years, but I have a lot of family there so it wouldn’t be the end of the world. Thoughts?
