So who really cares, everyone in the automotive industry who I've spoken to told me that the electric cars are a fad that won't ever take off on any relevant scale. They're gonna stay a niche at best. In any case, the car in itself is not a problem, planned obsolescence (not just in the automotive sector) is the primary cause of the shit we're in.
Once they will start making cars that can run for more than 20 years without replacing the battery, then we can start taking them seriously. We all know that's never gonna happen though, even if there was tech for that (maybe there already is, who knows).
Also, I applaud all the deluded breeders ITT, your children are going to be slaving away for my retirement pay, while I will be spending their hard earned money on carbon fred sleds, enjoying all the free time they will never have.
