it's pretty damn sturdy
i've got a more expensive modern one that fits 5 bikes and that one works great too
but i prefer the cheap oldschool one. You can get them for $20 all day.
fuck i've never encountered a flimsy towbar rack they all attach the same way with 2 bolts and it's very secure and then just a big metal pipe i have no idea what the other anon is talking about. They're all overbuilt. How can you fuck that up? The ones with actual clamps to put your bikes in just suck but it's not because they're dangerous.
If you've actually got a proper towbar attachment (i rent a trailer for my shitbox sometimes) and you strap the bikes down properly it's legit as hell.
