I've got these on a bike. They give ~150mm sweep from the stem clamp to the middle of the grips. That's pretty extreme, but if you want a cruiser position it's good. Lots of bars out there with more moderate sweep.
If you get new bars just make sure they have a 25.4 clamp and aren't wider than 620mm.
You're gonna have to remove your grips to change bars or stem. The way to do that is pry a small gap in them, and pour some isopropyl alcohol in the gap. If you change stem make sure you put a lot of grease around the stem wedge when you install it. If you do an extreme change you'll probably need to re-cable.
