I have a shit ton of liveries for FS9 planes that work just fine in FSX. Yeah okay sometimes they need a tweak, and sometimes they have errors, but they're functional.
Some of my freeware airplanes date back to at least FS2002, and have been gradually updated to work even in FSX. Getting FS9 stuff to work is trivial.
I fully expect all this shit will eventually (or immediately) work in FS2020 as well....
