How does this thing actually measure cadence and speed? It's attached directly into the frame on the chains stays. Garmin also makes a similar device but it sits ontop and you strap it on. I'm very confused how they work and nothing seems to explain it.
In comparison a wahoo cadence / speed sensor needs to be directly attached to the crank and wheel hub which makes sense to me as it can then measure the rotations. But something like the duotrap is just inside the frame which boggles my mind how it gets cadence or speed. I'm guessing for cadence it could have like a camera/radar that detects the crank as it rotates to get cadence, but it has no vision to the wheel or hub so idk how it could get speed.
