If you don't live and work in a multifamily, multifloor complex you're unlikely to be using a bike for transportation. If you ARE using a bike for transportation, and therefore going up and down stairs semi regularly, most likely weight is a factor. Good on you if you're strong and fit but ebikes and "fit" don't belong in the same sentence. If you're too obese to be able to pedal for 10 miles without dying of a heart attack, you probably don't need to be trying to carry a 50 pound incendiary device up and down your stairwell.
Also I would hope this goes without saying but unfortunately it looks like I have to say it: normies are not interested in subsidizing your aversion to exercise with our insurance premiums, hence why most coop/condo boards are banning these pieces of shit. Ebike batteries do not belong in your unit, period end of discussion. Time to install Uber.
