>>1237418>Its time bikes were updated for the 21st century /n/Yes, there are things I miss on bikes.
>They should have built into them>>Breaklight, activates when breaking and can be fixed on for night travelI would argue that during night it should shine brighter when braking.
>>Blinkers>>controlled by easy one touch operation on the handlebarsNope, no good way to mount them on dropbars and since bikes don't tend to have dual crown forks (except for downhill-MTB) there is no good place to mount them.
>>a mounting bracket and usb plug in the centre of the handlebar for a smartphone to be attached to display an app for speedomoter, odomoter, and interfacing them with a mapYou could build a USB-charger into the cap of your headset
>>regenerative breaks to provide powerHub-dynamos would be way more easy, and 5W more or less are not much.
>>a plug in the rear of the frame to connect a trailer to control its lights, or a socket charger, or solar chargerNot realy nesessary for most riders.
>>Optional in wheel motorAlready a thing, I don't want it and most of /n/ doesn't like it.
>>all incorporated into the frame with wiring inside itInternal cable routing is already a thing with roadbikes.
>What else? Automatic breaks?Hell, no.
>Automatic transmission?Already exists, it is shit.
But shimano could offer something like that for their Di-2 drivetrains.
The problem with most of this is, that it adds weight, cost and complexity for verry little gain.
Only the brake-light and hub-dynamo charger are worth considering IMHO.
