>>1654596Hmm. Anon who posted the picture of the barn above, on my trip I ended up going through Amish territory so I actually came across a number of horse and buggies. This is obviously purely anecdotal, but there and all of the rest of the time the drivers treated me far better than I was expecting. They always gave me and the buggies plenty of room when they passed and such.
That said there were plenty of times they did overall stupid things like go into the opposite lane to pass me right before the crest of a hill or a sharp turn since they didn't want to wait 10 seconds longer for me to clear it, but hey I wouldn't be the one in a head on collision so it's fine by me.
