Unlike OP, I realize that although I may think very logically and come up with the most safe and efficient solutions to everyday problems, the rest of the world will not accomodate my autism, and would prefer to just do things haphazardly without much thought. That means treating every pedestrian, cyclist, scooter user and driver as if they are a potential threat not watching where they are going (or thinking they own the road/sidewalk) and navigating cautiously past them at a comfortable distance.
