They never perform to spec, they're unreliable as hell, you never get parts because the Russians steal them for themselves, they have ABYSMAL safety records, and literally nobody who can afford otherwise uses them. There's a reason Boeing and Airbus dominate the airliner field and it's not because Tupolevs are "awesome".
