I'm thinking of waxing my chain since it seems to be better than normal lube and since I got a new bike I wanna take really good care of it. When i got the bike I applied some ceramic lube becasue I was unsure if I should or not, better safe than sorry.
This chain doesn't have a quick link so if I take the chain pin out (looks like a grey disc and larger than the others), do I need to buy a new one?
I also don't own an ultrasonic cleaner but I could do the bottle shake method or some other but I need to get it perfectly clean.
My main concern is getting the chain off and back on, I should be able to handle everything else.
