Some important ongoing heavy rail development:
Shatin Central Link
>First phase oening next year and will offer rail connection to coastal part of Eastern Kowloon, second phase will provide an additional link across the harbor in the center of the city to alleviate congestion

- New North-South corridor

- YLS/HSK ELS
