It's a real ecosystem for urban gentrification. Very funny to observe.This is truth. I live and grew up a handful of miles away from what used to be hipster central, Wicker Park, Chicago. Before it was gentrified, Wicker Park was another shithole next to Humboldt Park, which used to be a really really shitty shithole. Once rent skyrocketed due to massive development in the area, the hipsters moved to Logan Square. Now Logan Square is almost complete in the gentrification cycle with the hipsters moving somewhere less popular for a more livable rent.
