I attached a pic of me using an REI trunkbag as a pannier kludge back before I had the T-bag for my Brompton.
>>1207733>>1207640The Brompton with a front carrier block(plastic bit on the headtube that allows to attach carrying accessories in the front) and rear rack can carry a formidable amount of groceries and materials. Way more than anyone can carry on their back, and don't forget nothing prevents me from also using a bookbag in addition to the T-bag on the front of the bike and the rear rack.
Btw, I bought that Brompton in 2014. By now with how much I have used it, if it was some gay electric device it would have needed a new battery or be limited to only 3 miles trips or even less.
I also sometimes use my Brompton on tamer offroad sections, something that cannot be done with a gay electric scooter/skateboard. Only the Onewheel can handle offroad.
