I'm looking into buying my first "serious" bike and I'm stuck between deciding on a hybrid or falling for the fixie/single meme.
The Juliet headset configuration felt particularly nice for my height and I like the upright feel, but I'd be sacrificing the convenience of eight speeds, a front brake, and substantial wheels/tread should I ever take it trail riding.
I do like the minimal feel but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit.
This will be used for exercise and light commuting.
