Universityfag here, the semester's ending early because corona and I need to get a job for the winter. I'd probably kill myself if I worked retail or service again, and I've been seriously considering bike-related jobs, like food delivery or courier work if anyone's hiring around here. Does anyone have advice on surviving a winter bike gig? Will my road bike be able to survive that kind of work, or should I look into buying a beater?
Related to this, has anyone done food delivery by bike for any of the big apps recently? If so, how much money did you make on average?
