i always want to see more cyclists in nyc. a lot of younger people i see commuting are on shit-tier single speeds like tribe bikes. they ride slowly and sometimes poorly, but whatever, at least they are predictable. i dislike the trendfags who ride just as slowly with their fashionably massive chainrings, but act like i'm the one who's shit for riding a sensible ratio on a commuting-oriented bike. people who ride fixed without foot retention, or brakes, need to fuck off.
