Looking for a 25mm tire that will reliably carry a 265lbs man through a post-apocalytic cityscape riddled with glass and potholes. Needs to take 120 psi regularly to avoid pinch-flats and have excellent puncture resistance. Comfort, speed and price is not a priority.
So far I'm undecided between the Continental Gator Hardshell and Schwalbe Marathon Plus.
I am aware that 28mm or more would be better suited for the job but 25mm is a very tight fit already. Mid-80s Panasonic DX-2000 road frame.
