Is it normal for shifters that don't work to just start working again? The large one wouldn't go into third and the small wouldn't drop below 5, but I took them apart and dipped them in kerosene and moved them around and now they work. There wasn't any hardened grease and all I did was poke some levers with screw drivers, usually things shouldn't be that easy.
