>>16980411 and a half degrees cause I ride 58s you manlet. Beside the fact you’re ignoring my other points about the frame, yes it absolutely does make a difference. Check this pic. Trail for the Pacer with a 32mm tire is 56mm, trail for the CC with the same size tire is 66 fucking mm. That trail figure is huge and designed to keep you going in a straight line. With a 41mm tire on the CC it’s 69mm of trail! I know you don’t know shit about geometry but that’s ridiculous. I threw in one more calculation, bottom right corner is the Pacer with a 650Bx42, 53mm of trail is pretty snappy handling. Say you’re doing 30 mph on a gravel descent and there’s an obstacle in your line that you need to avoid, I’d much rather be on the more responsive bike. Now look, the Cross Check probably outsold the Pacer 10 to 1 so it obviously has great appeal to the average rider, but even my wife can tell that the cross check has slow steering and an overall different feel from the Pacer. It’s like the cross check is a Big Mac with fries and a coke, and the Pacer is like a grass fed burger with a couple beers. Yeah they’re fairly similar in a lot of ways, but the Pacer is designed to blow your mind a little more and the cross check is just designed to get you where you’re going. If they were practically the same, why even make different bikes?
