one is the bones/tissue over the bones of your ass being sore. That's normal, not bad for you, and will go away once you break your ass in
the other is your nerves and special bits being pinched. That's a serious issue. A really 'comfy' saddle will actually cause this over time. Because it's soft and you sink into it, it's not only contacting your ass bones (sit bones) it also compresses around them and pushes in your nerves and stuff. That's why really padded saddles are bad. They're comfortable to sit on, but not to ride on for any distance.
Most cyclists who ride over a couple of hours wear padded shorts. Under a couple of hours, I don't think they're necessary, once you've broken your ass in, regardless of the saddle.
I'd suggest 1 of 4 things
>buy a slightly padded proper mtb saddle like a WTB Volt. They're pretty cheap. >buy a sprung leather saddle like a Brooks b17. They're expensive and some people hate them, but they can be the most comfortable saddle you can buy, as they literally mould to the shape of your ass, and the leather whicks sweat very well. >buy padded cycling shorts or bibs, with a chamois. If you're embarrassed you can wear them under shorts. >literally just ride through the pain if it's the good pain and eventually you'll be used to it. I'm comfortable on a saddle with 0 padding and no chamois for a few hours. It was a bit of a grind to get there, but worth it.
