Womens specific bikes often have the exact same components as the main brands equivalent model. They have a shorter top tube since women generally having looong legs and shorter torso.

However that can be fixed with saddle height and a shorter stem. OP wants to keep it simple. She needs to ride a bunch of different bikes and see what fits and makes her feel confident on it.
