DART in Dallas is probably nowhere even within the top 50, but I think for a state that is normally stereotyped as being entirely car-dependent we have a surprisingly extensive rail network in the DFW area.
The most noteworthy part of the system (which is also not shown well in this map) is the Mckinney Avenue Trolley that connects between Cityplace station and St. Paul station. They operate a random assortment of vintage interurbans, streetcars, and trollies that they've collected from Dallas, San Francisco, St. Louis, Melbourne, and Brussels. And what's especially unique for a historic line is that it's still used extensively by regular people for commuting and not just as a tourist attraction.
There's also a decent amount of planned expansion to the system. In the map you can already see the new Silver line which will help better connect the lines together somewhere besides downtown. It's under construction to be complete in 2025. The ball has also started to roll on building a true HSR between Dallas and Fort Worth (already serviced by TRE) and/or HSR between Dallas and Houston. Both are still a ways off from construction, but are more than just rail-fan dreams since there's a mix of private/public entities pushing to make them happen.
