i totally respect spending this money on food and weed instead, or if you like cultivating the hobo look while touring (has it's good points and bad points), but good lord, essentially wasting several hundred dollars on a shiny nitto dirt drop or a technomic, some nitto noodles, some bartape to match your saddle, a silver seatpost, and nice silver honzos or vo fenders, a silver headset if that one is getting on, would make that bike so much classier.
I think you'd also have a better time with some front loading too.
